The User Interface Design post graduate program was new and hence generated a lot of curiosity within NID about the nature of the discpline. This intranet site was an attempt to draw attention and elaborate on the new program, students and the possible roles in the society that they were being trained to play.

 

 

 

 

Training Portal for Intranet________________________________________

This was an academic exercise to understand the basic tenets of UI design process and implementation. Besides designing the interface, a visualization tool was also conceptualized for HR managers to monitor employees’ training needs vis‐a‐vis their performances.

 

 

 

 

 

The End - An exploration in sound and images_______________________________

'The End' was an image-sound ensemble that aimed at recreating / re-living the experience of visiting cemetries / burial grounds. Primarily a team exercise, it involved visits to cemetries, photography, recreating sounds in the institute's recording studio, editing and copywriting.
